Born to an Arab mother and a Portuguese father, Sarah Perles began her artistic career after being discovered in 2015 by British director Howard J. Ford, who offered her her first film role in the feature Never Let Go. This debut marked the beginning of an international career in which she has combined European, North African, and Spanish productions. Her multicultural background and fluency in several languages have been key to her rapid rise across diverse audiovisual markets.

In 2017, Sarah appeared in the Moroccan film Burn Out by Nour Eddine Lakhmari, which was selected for festivals such as Dubai and Tangier. That same year, she filmed Sofia, directed by Meryem Ben’Barek, an international co-production that premiered in 2018 in the Un Certain Regard section of the Cannes Film Festival. In 2021, she played the lead role in Alegría, directed by Violeta Salama—a drama-adventure film set in Melilla that cemented her presence in Spanish cinema. More recently, she played Sanaa Benkirane in the science fiction blockbuster Atoman, a big-screen adaptation of a popular classic comic.

In television, Sarah has taken part in major productions both in Spain and internationally. In 2018, she joined the cast of the Belgian series The Team, and in the same year made her Spanish television debut with roles in Los Nuestros 2, alongside Paula Echevarría and Rodolfo Sancho, and in the Movistar+ series Instinto. In 2019, she was part of the historical series El Cid on Amazon Prime Video. Her international profile continued to grow with appearances in Doctor Who and Homeland in 2020, and in productions such as Syndrome E and Mal Al Donia in 2022.
