Belén Ecija begins her training in 2015 in the Corazza Studio, the school of acting training, at the age of 21. Among other roles, she plays Heavenly in Tormenta de primavera by Tennesse Williams, as well as El Porvenir en un Beso and a variety of small theatre roles.
While studying Audiovisual Communication at the University of San Pablo CEU, she does a course on scriptwriting and acts in some of the shorts they write.
In 2016 she moves to New York to finish her studies. She comes back to Spain in 2017 to continue her acting training and during that summer she carries out various courses. The first in Central de Cine técnica para Televisión y Cine called Acting in front of the camera. She then does a course given by Yael Belicha in Yael Actors Coaching in CINE+JOVEN. This was followed by a Clown course at Corazza given by Alain Vigneau. Then in September she does one in Dramatic Structure given by Raquel Pérez. During this last course she enrolls in Raquel Pérez acting training where she immediately starts the Advanced (second) course in which they prepare parts of Federico Garcia Lorca´s plays. Alongside this course she takes singing classes with Noemi Billy.
She has participated in various independent short films in film schools such as EFTI with Klara and CEV in the short film La confianza da asco.
In 2019 she is part of the cast of the series on the channel Antena 3, La Valla, starring Olivia Molina, Unax Ugalde and Angela Molina.
