Alvise Rigo was a rugby player for several years, and later began making small collaborations as an actor and model. His first acting opportunity was a minor role in the series Che Dio Ci Aiuti for Rai Tv, and his big break as an actor came through the renowned Italian director Ferzan Özpetek and his role in Nuovo Olimpo. His last film is The room next door, written and directed by Pedro Almodóvar.
His most recent television work is the series El refugio atómico, soon available on Netflix, in which Bárbara Santa-Cruz also participates.
