Fran Perea, a Graduate of the Dramatic Arts, specialized in acting at the Escuela Superior de Arte Dramatico (ESAD) in Málaga. He had a leading role in the film Summer Rain, directed by the world famous Antonio Banderas. He acted alongside Raúl Arévalo, Victoria Abril and Juan Diego in this film as well as Emilio Martínez Lázaro in 13 Roses, Paula Ortiz in De Tu Ventana a la Mía, and with Maribel Verdú, Roberto Álamo, and Fernando Guillén Cuervo in Los Managers. His latest work in short films has been in El Opositor and in Life Vest Under your Seat which was nominated for the ´´Best Short Film´´ award in the Goya Awards of 2013. Fran also worked with directors María Giráldez and Miguel Provencio in the short film Eladio y la Puerta Interdimensional. He directed his own first short film El Bailarín for the project ´´Historías que Cuentan´´ of Havana Club 7 and the Spanish magazine El Duende.

In the theatre world, Fran Perea has participated in important projects such as Fedra directed by José Carlos Plaza and written by Juan Mayorga where he acted alongside Ana Belén and Alicia Hermida. Fedra made its debut at the Malaga Theatre Festival. Following this, he starred in the play Don Juan. Fran has also performed in the following plays: El burlador de Sevilla, directed by Emilio Hernández, which made its debut in Naples at the International Almagro Festival of Classic Theatre. He worked with the director Plaza again in his play, Electra, alongside Ana Belen in Mérida, as well as in Todos eran mis hijos from the Argentinian director Claudio Tolcachir. Fran created his very own company called Feelgood Teatro, which has brought to the stage screenplays such as Feelgood from Alistair Beaton and La Estupidez de Rafael Spregelburd. He is currently on tour throughout Spain acting in the play, El ciclista utópico, directed by Yayo Cáceres. In addition, he made his debut as a theatre director with the stage play Souvenir from the playwright Pablo Díaz Morilla.

Fran Perea has had a successful career path on television. He has been in tv series and shows such as: La sonata del silencio, B&B, and Luna, el misterio de Calenda where he had a lead role alongside Belén Rueda, Daniel Grao and Macarena García. He has also worked on the series Hospital Central, Los Serrano and Al salir de Clase. Fran came into the limelight thanks to Los Serrano and Al salir de Clase.In 2020, Fran joins the cast of the second season of El Vecino on Netflix, where he plays himself and impersonates the superhero Titán. One of his most relevant works on television is the Finnish series Kosta, alongside María Romero, which already has three seasons. Fran stars in this crime drama for Orange TV, playing the role of Andrés Villanueva, the inspector leading the investigation. His latest appearance on television is in Citas Barcelona, for Prime Video.

His latest work for the big screen is De perdidos a Río directed by Joaquín Mazón. It is a crazy comedy about a group of friends who travel to Rio to repatriate the body of a friend who turns out not to be dead.
