Ferran Vilajosana

Biography

Ferran, barcelonés, knows the theatre of the hand of their parents at an amateur company of Gracia. With 12 years old, debuts in the Grec 2000 Festival with the basque company Tantaka Teatroa

In 2001 he began studying acting in Barcelona, combining his studies with piano and tap classes.

His big break arrived with the series ‘El cor de la ciutat’ (TV3). Later, he would continue working on television with ‘El club Super3’ (TV3) and ‘El corazón del oceano’ (Antena 3).

His work on television alternated with different theatre projects, an activity which he never abandoned and which has enabled him to give standout performances in Calixto Bieito’s Macbeth, Teresa Canas’s ‘Antígona’, Josep María Pou’s ‘History Boys’ and 'Prime Time' directed by Martí Torras. In the last mounts, besides acting also plays the piano.

His most recent work has included the box-office hit ‘Tengo ganas de ti’, (directed by Fernando González Molina) in which he starred alongside Clara Lago and Mario Casas.
