Alex Villazán was born in Madrid and since his early childhood has been linked to martial arts and acting. At the age of 19, he won the third place in the World Championship of Jiu Jitsu.

Regarding acting, he began with the director and set designer Maria Jose Pazos and then joined the Municipal School of Drama combining it with shares in TV series such as Cuéntame, Buena gente or El don de alba.

He joined La joven compañía where he made numerous courses with Chevi Muraday, Andoni Larrabeiti, Chani Martin, Mariano Marin, José Luis Raymond or stage director Josep Maria Mestres, among others.

While in La joven compañía he works in the plays Fuenteovejuna, Plastilina, El señor de las moscas, Hey Boy! Hey Girl!—version of Romeo and Juliet in which he makes the character of Romeo, and a new version of Fuenteovejuna, this time written by the playwright Juan Mayorga. Directed all of them by the director José Luis Arellano.

In 2015, begins his first film Como la espuma directed by Roberto Pérez Toledo.
